Loneliness and modern times

Nowadays very many people suffer from loneliness. This is so very understandable, because today people value freedoms and rights. Loneliness is another side of freedom. If you are free, it means that nobody can demend something from you. As a result, you also can't demand anything from other people. Thus the vicious circle is created. Freedom in its radical form makes people extremely unsociable and unfriendly. They prefer to be on their own and not to communicate with each other. Of course, it doesn't refer to all people, but such a terrible tendency really exists. Day by day we become more withdrawn and drift apart from each other. We pay attention to our material comfort, convenience and so on. In short, we take care solely about our material welfare. As for our spiritual world, we underestimate its value. One of the keys to mental welfare is having true friends. We can't go without friends. However, we think that we don't need any. If the situation develops in such a way, we are likely to forget what friendship really is. In order to avoid this sad cast, we must become more open to each other. We must learn to understand each other and respect each pother. Otherwise we won't be able to survive in this world. Only jointly we can overcome all our problems and difficulties. We have no other way out. We are doomed to love each other, though we still don't understand this truth. Love people, talk to them, make friends and you will never be lonely.
