Loneliness

Loneliness is a very ambiguous feeling. On the one hand all people agree that it is unbearable and very sad feeling. People can live in society. This is absolutely natural for them and when a person is lonely, he/she experiences lack of communication and interaction with this very society. This deficiency in communication provokes depression and many other mental health disturbances. On the other hand there is a group of people, for whom loneliness is an advantage and it never oppresses them. On the contrary, they are in harmony with themselves and don’t experience any negative emotions. They are accustomed to be alone in this world and they don’t need anyone to live with, to communicate with, to go for a walk with, etc. other people treat these singles with suspicion. Unusual behavior is always strange and makes people keep away from such singles. They don’t suffer from this fact. This is just what they really want. Some of them are misanthropists, others are too reserved and withdrawn, etc. however, neither of these groups of singles suffers from loneliness. People, who can’t live without communication with like-minded persons and those, who prefer to alone constitute two large mega groups of extremes. The majority of people belong to neither of these groups. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Most people experience changes in their mood. They crave for communication at one moment and want to be alone at another. These changes are explained by different reasons. Among them are weather, the time of the day, season, etc. in any case, loneliness can’t be regarded as something absolutely negative. This is a complex feeling, which is vital in small doses.
